- Full PhD scholarship β to conduct research towards a doctoral degree in computer science and artificial intelligence, University of Wollongong, Australia.
- Full travel grant β to represent Sri Lanka in the JENESYS 2020 second-batch programme, organised by the Government of Japan.
- Winner, IEEE R10 Asia-Pacific Humanitarian Robotics Challenge 2018 (open category) β METABOT: a metal tactile robot based on active sensing. 6th IEEE Region 10 Humanitarian Technology Conference, Colombo, 6β8 December 2018.
- Best undergraduate project recognition, IESL β the active tactile sensor research was recognised by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka as one of the best electrical and electronic undergraduate projects in the country.
- Top five undergraduate research projects β Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Peradeniya, for the active tactile sensor project.
- Third place, best presenter β βMaximum Power Point Tracking Deviceβ, IET Present Around the World 2018 Annual Technical Conference, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, 12 May 2018.
- Winner, IEEE Circuit Design Competition 2016 β organised by the IEEE Sri Lanka Section; the task, set and evaluated by the University of Moratuwa, was to design a 10 W hi-fi amplifier.
- University Colours β awarded for hockey in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
- Mahapola Scholarship β for meritorious performance at G.C.E. Advanced Level (2013).
- Ceylinco Randaru Pranama Scholarship β for meritorious performance at G.C.E. Advanced Level (2013).
